An Introduction to Exhibition Outcomes, LLC

My name is Alex P. Revzan and I am a dedicated public historian. I have over ten years of experience working in a variety of different museum roles. I have earned a BA in History and a MA in Public History and this work is my life’s passion. Over the years, I have worked on a variety of projects:

  • In early 2015 I was one of two historians who discovered previously lost footage of the wreck of the S.S. Eastland as it lay capsized in the Chicago River.

  • I lectured on, and then developed a walking tour focused on The Great Chicago Fire of 1871

  • I created a guided tour for a museum exhibition highlighting the architecture of Louis H. Sullivan and the photography of Richard S. Nickel

  • I was part of a team that developed a walking tour in Chicago’s River North neighborhood that discusses vice and reform in the late 19th and early 20th century

  • I have created social media content for several different clients

  • I have helped train front of house staff to give tours and interpretation

While most of my recent work has focused on Chicago history, I have experience with a number of different historical fields. I have researched and written on topics as diverse as the history of the Irish nationalist movement, vice and reform in the late 19th and early 20th century, and the history of the duel of honour among others. I look forward to hearing from you and seeing how I can help your institution develop outstanding educational content.

I also maintain a blog which can be found here
